During November, the company lets us enjoy two days of vacation for Thanksgiving. We appreciate the gesture but I’d rather go to Cagayan than carve turkeys.

SIAM Thai Cuisine and Missy Bonbon in Cagayan de Oro

August 19, 2010 – Rewind a few weeks back when I was celebrating with my family in Cagayan de Oro for my mom’s 54th birthday, I made two stops at two restaurants in Limketkai Center – Siam Thai Cuisine and Missy Bonbon.

See, Siam Thai Cuisine is also at the Ground Level of Ayala Terraces beside Cyma Restaurant and because I knew that it is another version of Krua Thai (which I absolutely adore, by the way), I keep putting off the day when I will finally get to eat there. It just so happens that I tried this Siam restaurant in Cagayan de Oro instead. Absolutely funnnyyy!

My friend Quennie’s brother owns the place and she sometimes manages the restaurant when she’s around. Peace, Q! Too bad she was sick when we were there. Below is a photo of their steamed fish and their famous bagoong rice. The fish they used is lapu-lapu which explains why this was priced at almost P200. The bagoong rice is as heavenly as I had expected. So delish! Do you know mixing the sliced onions also enhaces the flavor? Try it!

The closest physical encounter we all had was a big smooch on the cheeks – anything besides that would be incest. Meet my nonsexual boyfriends. 

Warren – he calls everyone bitch and maybe that is his way of mirroring his personality through others. Confides that the reason behind his all talk principle is because Lucy the Mom thought that being mute at an early age will be cured by making him eat the vagina of the pig. Sweet Rj who has the same personality as me. He hardly picks a fight with anyone and just curls up in a corner whenever someone walks all over him. He professionalized his camwhoring career when he bought his own camera and well, shamelessly promoted himself. 

Bjing – Markee the KSP guy I love so much. He hardly has anything to say that doesn’t require any attention. His insulting me is almost endearing to a point but I take it as his expression of love for me.

I love you sweethearts! More gay friends to love — they know who they are. Does that mean I could be gay, or in denial, or just happy? Like this?
