Its Boracay, Not Bora

You may probably have heard of tourists who said there is something about Boracay that just sucks them in and makes them not want to leave. I have heard people declare their love for Moalboal or Malapascua or Palawan. They have acquired citizenship over local waters and I guess it is not just about being in Palawan, or Boracay or Guimaras. It is just the Philippines. Period.

It was raining when we went to Caticlan. Crossing the 3-minute banca ride with rain and not the salt water whipping on your face can really make a tourist feel bad about such gloomy weather but we couldn’t really do much about it. Why Anyone Would Want to Get Lost in Malapascua

May 15, 2010 – The four hour ride to Maya was not at all pleasant and the province of Maya had powder for land that just piles on your face when the bus passes by it. From Cebu, you can always get on one of the buses at the North BusTerminal.

When you get to Maya, you will not miss this small store. They sell everything from coke zero sakto size to Vicks.
