The Shabu Way at Robinsons Cybergate and Snack Meals
Lo and behold! Your favorite shabu-shabu dining in Cebu is also open at Robinsons Cybergate at J. Llorente St. cor. Don Gil Garcia St. and facing Fuente Osmena Circle. Our friends from Banawa area, Jones and also in Mango Square can now enjoy shabu-shabu dining at affordable prices!
The Shabu Shabu set meals are from P299-P499. Hopefully, I’d get to take a photo of their menu soon. You’ll also see my attempt at food photography there hahaha thanks so much for gawsy Anton to trust my lens skills. The first batch of photos on their first menu, by the way, was taken by a Sony T7 series point and shoot camera. These new babies are now taken with my Canon Rebel XS or Canon 1000D in 50mm lens and Canon Speedlite 430EX ii.
Pork Katsudon – a personal favorite of mine. Hardly a vegetable eater, I find taugi in ANY meal completes the dish.

Lunching on Wanna Eat’s MyJoy and Butterbean’s Crazy Bliss
The boyfriend and I brought Prince Sebastian to the vet a few Saturdays ago for pet grooming in Cebu and when his hairstylist (oh, diba!) said it might take him time to get the job done, we decided to head out for lunch at IT Park’s newest addition of restaurants, Wanna Eat. For Librans like me who take one million years to decide on what to order, I was greeted with THREE menus – Brasco Pizza, MyJoy and Butterbean. You can just imagine the agony! Good thing Joven wasn’t THAT hungry.
Let’s dwell a bit on Butterbean’s cooler, shall we? Aah, the sumptiousness of it all! This is what life is made of – Butterbean brownies!

Santo Niño Basilica Church and Lamesa Grill Cebu
June 30, 2010 – Day Two of La Familia’s weekend in Cebu involved a free day tour in Colon. Eep. But of course, that’s a short visit to the 16th Century St. Niño Basilica Church that you can’t miss or else. Can I indulge you with a few vanity shots? Teehee.
