Yes, this Birthday Post is Long Overdue

Just like everything else is OVERDUE. Nothing funny here. My birthday was last October 3 and the boyfriend was on September 26. That makes us Librans. Yes, I am everything nice and diplomatic and confrontation-phobic and indecisive. My friends love me. My family thinks I’m their prodigal daughter who sets off on her own and comes back whenever she wants to. My sisters sometimes count the times my mom indulges me which is quite scary if you ask me because I begin to wonder how they are like 10 years from now. But I love them and they love me back and joke about still getting blessings from mom even if I am in my mid-20s and employed.

On to my second wedding!

Nah, not me. I can’t wear forest green on my big day. My friend Tihn got hitched last January 30 the month after Sobie did and I had to fly to Cagayan de Oro again. Not that I’d mind but the weekend was entirely all about Tin and her big day.

On the eve of her wedding we had a mini rehearsal where we were only required to make one dry run and then I was allowed to chase the little kids around. So cute! Continue reading »

Candy's Tartufo

When we were in Cagayan de Oro last February, we had our usual stopover at Candy’s. Love this Tartufo. The outside is made of frozen chocolate and the inside is made of ice cream cake. Sinful.
