No right answers.

November 12th, 2009 Kristine Roa Posted in Surveys 2 Comments » 123 views

These questions have no right or wrong answers.
Because sometimes asking the right question is the answer. I got this from Aimee.

1. How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?
24. All my social networks site says I’m born in 1980. Hahaha.
2. Which is worse, failing or never trying?
Never trying.
3. If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?
Because we are afraid of being happy and we think we don’t deserve to be happy.
4. When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?
Mostly likeLY I’ve done it. Now who wants to play I Never?
5. What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world?
Garbage. Literal and figuratively speaking.
6. If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich?
Being in the center of events haha. Pets. Whatever.
7. Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing?
..what I believe in.
8. If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?
40 years! Damn. Yes, hell, I will. I would have sprouted 15 babies by then.
9. To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken?
Moved out from my parent’s house and lived alone. For 4 years already. Yes, I’m smug.
10. Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things?
All. OC is me.
11. You’re having lunch with three people you respect and admire. They all start criticizing a close friend of yours, not knowing she is your friend. The criticism is distasteful and unjustified. What do you do?
“I can understand that she can be misunderstood sometimes. In all honesty, she is like that and that. And yes, she is my friend.”
12. If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be?
Indulge.
13. Would you break the law to save a loved one?
Done.
14. Have you ever seen insanity where you later saw creativity?
Ah, yes. The most intelligent people are INsane sometimes.
15. What’s something you know you do differently than most people?
Eat with my left hand. Write with my right.
16. How come the things that make you happy don’t make everyone happy?
Because we all have different wants and needs and culture and upbringing. Some people just don’t get it.
17. What one thing have you not done that you really want to do? What’s holding you back?
Go to LA and shop at Rodeo Drive. No time. Haha. So shallow.
18. Are you holding onto something you need to let go of?
Yes. An old Clarins compact that I absolutely love but I should be throwing away already.
19. If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why?
Greece. The place is like Philippines only they say, “Opa!”
20. Do you push the elevator button more than once? Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster?
Hahaha. Who ever thought of that??
21. Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton?
Worried genuis. Blasted no other choice.

Because of my past and the people I have had relationships with whether they are old friends, old boyfriends, old officemates.

Hoh yes!

Nothing.

Yeah! Andrea. Lol.
35. Why do religions that support love cause so many wars?
I don’t know.
36. Is it possible to know, without a doubt, what is good and what is evil?

25 Things Your Friends Pressure You to Write

January 31st, 2009 Kristine Roa Posted in Surveys 4 Comments » 63 views

…which you still write, anyway! :)

Rules: Once you’ve been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 25 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you, it’s because I want to know more about you.

(To do this, go to “notes” under tabs on your profile page, paste these instructions in the body of the note, type your 25 random things, tag 25 people (in the right hand corner of the app) then click publish.)

I did a 10 Things before and I guess they need 15 more. Plus, with people tagging me – peer pressure!

  1. Dishwashing is suicide. Anything but the dishes.
  2. My OC-ness is more suicidal.
  3. I think I’m just good with the dressing and making up part, go to a place and hang with friends. Sometimes when I’m done with the dress rehearsal and makeup, I do not feel like going out anymore. I am just happily contented with the rehearsal. J
  4. I stacked two volumes of my journal back home when I was in highschool and one fourth of those are all talk about how I hate my mom. I’ll be burning those soon.
  5. I’m not a “morning person” but just a breakfast in bed person. When you’re so used to waking up at noon, you are best eating lunch with a headache on the side.
  6. I collect watches, stationeries and all kinds of fancy paper, headbands, magazines, jewelry (custom made, fashion and genuine), and um, shoes.
  7. I’m addicted to lotions, Magnolia Blossom, tissues, and alcohol.
  8. I lost the final round of a major spelling bee with Mimi years ago when I spelled PASAD for façade. How embarrassing.
  9. My karaoke songs are always No More Rhyme and Especially for You by Kylie Minogue and Jay Pascual would hog the mic to sing duet with me. I miss you, boy!
  10. I sneezed all my 26 years in life. If I do not have a cold in a day, there’s something wrong with me.
  11. Rewind two years ago when I had an article published at the local newspaper about Cebu’s Red Light district. You can blackmail me with that info to my parents who never had clue.
  12. There’s a small red mole on my chest. Who ever has heard of red moles?
  13. Planners, organizers and calendars are my life. I need something to write on whenever an idea strikes.
  14. My phone is practically glued to my palm. Somebody has to keep me busy and preoccupied to keep my hands off it. Babe? Haha.
  15. I cry at Tagalog movies, weddings, thinking of my mom, Walt Disney cartoons, seeing people crying, getting hurt. Ah. A Walking dam is me.
  16. A meal is never complete with ice cream or chocolate cake or sugar frosting or mangoes or bananas or flan.
  17. Only four people can get away with calling me “baktin”.
  18. I will authorize him to upload a scandalous video if and only if I’m dead.
  19. I get annoyed with “Can you make tawag that manong over there?” “Please make silip if he’s there already.”
  20. If you messed up with your “their, there, its, it’s”, friendship is over hahaha joke.
  21. I never leave home without my eyeliner, asthma coke powder, and jewelry on my wrist.
  22. I will donate my boobs to breast cancer stricken women before I die.
  23. For the first time, I’m declaring I’m in love and I am lost.
  24. I hate it when people take food off my plate. It’s the mother of all rudeness.

Fedz, Mitz and Kate loves… thanks for the tag. Haha. Pressure!
