Saffron Cafe at the Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan
Now that we taken a tiny tour around Crimson Resort and Spa in Mactan Cebu, I just wanted to show you the resort’s restaurant, Saffron Cafe.

Saffron, like the spice we love on our paellas, is where all meals at Crimson Resort and Spa are being served unless you wanted yours served at Azure Bar, their chillout lounge that faces the ocean or at the comforts of your own villa’s tiny dining space. The 250-seater restaurant is located near the swimming pool and just down the main lobby. The dining room that serves as their main dining room also has their own coffee shop. Highlighting 2011 Part II: Travelling
This is the second part of my 2011 highlights and my favorite parts of the year that make me realize that I could probably be a travel and food blogger in Cebu me self – but certainly not as good as my idol, Estan or Enrico or Anton Diaz, and Sinjin.
Ah, who could ever forget the series of beaches, sunbeds, canopy beds and sunsets that I have had affairs with last year? In the first month of 2011, the gang trooped to Hilton Hotel Cebu, the last quarter of the hotel’s pinkiness before it was turned into Movenpick Cebu.
With the best setting, the perfect weather and the busog high after a Sutukil lunch, it was the perfect weekend for a fun shoot. The Hilton Cebu was turned into one production setting that day! Thank you to our photographer friends who indulged us that day. Yves did the styling, Joy and Aoi modeled while the rest of us goofed around!

Come Valentines week, the boyfriend and I wanted to do an annual Valentine-in-Boracay thing and started that tradition in 2011. I cannot stress this enough – the weekend after Chinese New Year or the second weekend in February is the perfect season to be in the island especially when people go to Boracay for New Years and Summer – less people means lesser queues and if there are lesser queues then it means everything is not expensive!
