The New Taproom at Gustavian Ayala Center Cebu

Fancy an epicurean dining experience in Cebu? With their menu specially prepared by Swedish chef Robert Lilja and Austrian chef Dietmar Dietrich, the Gustavian Ayala is super popular with their hearty and, yes, organic meals. Although its main branch is in Banilad, the Gustavian in Ayala Terraces is slowly ganing the same popularity and demand for their deli that offers homemade European sausages, smoked meats, seafoods, and bread selections!

According to chef Robert, Gustavian Ayala transforms into a bar at night and we were the first one to christen the place that when the Taproom in Gustavian Ayala was open. LUCKY! Continue reading »

Green String Bean and Tomato Recipe

The joy of realizing that you can actually make a meal out of leftover vegetables is overwhelming. I saved money and I saved the environment from throwing away rotten food. How’s that for size? When the boyfriend forced me to at least have vegetables in my system sometime, he bought a pack of string beans along with our groceries and I am stumped with what to do with it… until this.
