Why Anyone Would Want to Get Lost in Malapascua

May 15, 2010 – The four hour ride to Maya was not at all pleasant and the province of Maya had powder for land that just piles on your face when the bus passes by it. From Cebu, you can always get on one of the buses at the North BusTerminal.

When you get to Maya, you will not miss this small store. They sell everything from coke zero sakto size to Vicks.

The boat ride costs about 50. Small boat, huh? Continue reading »

Download SL Fashionista WordPress Theme

This is a Free WordPress Theme. The creator wishes you to not remove the footer links by www.semlaguna.com. Normally, when one installs a theme in WordPress, they automatically go to Themes – Editor – Footer and remove the byline. This, my friends, is close to piracy. See screenshot below.

Free Premium WordPress Themes

Back when I was still constructing and reconstructing my fashion blog, I dabbled with soooooo many themes for WordPress you will be amazed at the huge amount of patience I possessed during the entire experience. There are just so many themes out there! I guess part of being a Libra (and indecisive at that) means that you can never finalize something unless you are 100% contented and satisfied.

Sure, you may say, “How hard can it be to decide on a theme?”

TRUST ME. Nothing feels right, nothing looks right and nothing ever works right!

My first choice was a magazine-type of theme and although I initially stuck to it until the end, I admitted to cheating on several kinds of themes before finalizing my choice. These are my top requirements for setting up my fashion blog, by the way:

1.  Customized Logo/Header
2.  Editable Sidebar
3.  Magazine Type with image and text excerpt on the Main Index Page
4.  Animated Multiheader
5.  Threaded Comments

Do I sound too jargon-y? You cannot imagine the series of nosebleeding sessions I had with CSS, JAVA and HTML. Nobody served this to me in a silver platter and with all the resources I have over the weeks that I madeover ISC, I do not know what else to do with them but to give them away. Yes, that also includes Premium WordPress Themes. Keep posted for my first giveaway. :)

Toodles. ♥
