March 10, Wednesday - It was our last day in Hongkong and Warren (our travel agent slash tour guide) made certain that our hours are going to be spent maximized through shopping or touring around Hongkong. We played around with my new lens while the boys were helping us out with the luggage and Warren checked us out at the hotel. And my, My, MY – that hotel was expensive! The bill was close to P65,000 for three rooms and three nights.

Aren’t my girls just gorgeous?
There was a 7pm trip from Kowloon Hotel to the airport and we hurriedly got on it the minute it parked outside. It was soo hard to leave yet and I can’t believe I’m going to be missing our hotel room that has my hair dye stains on the bath tub and super small refrigerator that houses all our leftover sio mais.

Yamazuki, anyone?

Loving my fit flops and how they helped me through the agonizingly long walks

fooling around at the MTR

Do you know we can already check in our bags at the train station? I had so much stuff inside my luggage and went nearly 3 kilos in excess. Warren did some magic Chinese talk to the guy at the counter and was able to just let the whole thing slide.

Anyway, we arrived at the Hongkong International Airport or Chek Lap Kok Airport two hours ahead of schedule and was simply awed by the huge grand super mega amazingly BIG place that airport was. Read more here

Of course, if Jay didn’t drag me to the food court area, I would have been lost at the floor where ever designer makeup was present: Chanel! Mac! Kiehl’s! And not to mention brands that you will NOT NORMALLY see everyday here in Cebu: BCBG! Gucci! Marc by Marc Jacobs! Valentino! Ermenegildo Zegna! Plus there is a 24-hour convenience store in the Arrivals hall.

Did I tell you we bumped into Mylene Dizon at MAC Cosmetics in Hongkong Airport Duty Free?
So pretty, yes?

How mean of Burger King to not put up shop here in CEBU!

It took me forever to realize that and I didn’t really understand why our flight back to Manila, Philippines was at 9pm on Wednesday Night and our flight back home would be at 4am the next day. I guess you’d understand why we were all this dead tired at the Manila airport.

Oh, I’m so tired. I’m just happy (for now) that my body can still take all the abuse it went through.

We had leftover sio mai, hakaw and dumplings to sustain us till 4am.

I’m so tired my lips and face muscles were so strained. That’s why Warren and I needed to do this on the plane. Release tension! Releaseeeee!

Food na naman. SO STUFFED. I ate Warren’s brownie from Bizu and he piled all these into my tray to make it seem like I ate it all. Which is true.

This is what happens to your skin on Hongkong Winter weather. I have a pimple right smacked in the middle of my forehead, my pores are almost as big as the zit, my cheeks are red, the circles under my eyes are turning into teabags and my lips are chapped. But yes, I can still smile.

That was a fun trip… your travel agent is awesome. But I guess, they would forgive the excess baggage given that the passengers are such gorgeous ladies.
I love the HK airport… I have a fave bakery there selling almond cookies… super sarap.
Glad to meet you pala. Thanks for dropping by. xoxo
