Case 39

I find it disturbing that parents would shove their 10 year old kid inside their oven and try to *gasp* roast her alive.

But you have to watch CASE 39 to understand why they would subject themselves to being condemned by a social worker like Renee who was very much repulsed by such un-parently behavior; you’d have to understand why you want to kick yourself in the arse for watching something predictable yet still is glued to the tv screen.

Case 39 The Movie

Fun to watch a kid turned psycho. Not fun to actually come to terms with your fears. Ugly and not fun, at all. This also brings me to that Q&A scene between the psychiatrist and Lilith. “What are your fears? Everyone seems to have one.” or, “You must have at least a YES in those questions.”

So I thought Case 39 was another remake of the movie, Orphan, whose character becomes unpredictable and turns all moviegoers to get scared of kids now. If you like the Orphan, you might want to check out Case 39.

Even if the story is predictable, you can’t help but get scared sometimes. Especially with that gruesome visual effects of burnt skin and demon faces that is shown without warning. I. Hate. When. That. Happens. It doesn’t give me time to cover my eyes!

Child actress Jodelle Ferland has so much potential! She doesn’t have that bubble gum factor Dakota Fanning has. Ten percent of the entire film actually scares you but the rest were just a huge effort to go on watching. You’d jump for a while and get psychologically intrigued by all that babble but you’d realize Renee is too cute for this movie. One last question, why can’t scary young girls be blonde this time?

So cool, I really love motion posters. To be honest, I think I prefer the eye-popping poster we case 39 last week to this one but this mind-blowing poster is very cool as well. I would love to see more motion posters for case 39 in the coming weeks …
