Celebrating my 28th birthday was a no-brainer. The idea of turning a year older was different. Sheesh. I’m no longer in my early 20s, am I? The mere fact that everytime I pass by the cosmetics section & see so many ANTI-AGING creams that actually attract me makes it scarier. Hell, I have so much to be grateful for I don’t have the time to think about aging.

The boyfriend and I spent my birthday breakfast at Tara’s just like how we did his. Somehow the food becomes bland if you keep coming back to it and worse, they don’t accept Visa cards. Oh well. Look at what I’m eating so unhealthy hahah!

We then trooped to Fudge, my newest fave pastry resto at AS Fortuna, for dessert. See photo below for a makeup-less me.

No more Tri Colore but opted for the Oreo mousse. Wow. Tastes like ube jam – chocolate flavored. Sorry to confuse.

Babe’s bestfriend, JP and his wife, Thea, celebrated their wedding reception at Royal Concourse with their family and friends from work. Please welcome your host for that night. Hihih.

Sunday was officially my birthday dinner at the Shabu Way Resto. So sad some people can’t come but nonetheless everyone had fun. Especially Jihan who kept saying, “Is this really how you eat here? With smoke blowing on your face?” hahaha. What a trip.

My dear Levi was there. That guy is practically a brother to me. And Meg. No, not a brother.

Melanie and Markee came. So happy to see those two. It was also timely that Mel was leaving for Switzerland in 4 days! I’m so glad I got the chance to say goodbye. She’s going to be coming back soon. I hope!  The family from CDO called – aw…… missed them. We’re going to be celebrating my birthday in CDO next weekend so perhaps that is going to be another story.
