Belated Happy Thanksigiving! How’s it been, posses? Yes, I’ve been addicted to FASHION WARS – you need to be in it and ADD ME. I need POSSES!
December should be welcomed like its gospel and the month proved to be stronger than a locomotive. I don’t know. But I just feel that. Lately, my ears perk up at the sound of fashion shows, soirees, launchings, clothes, and models (no, I’m not gay). The need to witness a plethora of events depletes the need to be entertained and be the lifestyle insider that I am on default.
VUDU Privé Lounge’s launching two weekends ago was forthcoming and it was just a matter of time before the place reopened last November. I was even told that I must be their ghost PR person to endorse them that publicly but I just shrugged and said that the place doesn’t need that because it PR-s on its own.

The boyfie and I got their at 8pm and the mood was relaxed, intimate and very much the kind of place that I’d want to be in when I wanted to entertain myself with lounge music, sumptuous food and my favorite accessory, the boyfriend. Vudu was packed with friends and families all present to support the opening slash cocktail party that was going on at the main room They had new menus (tapas) that we sampled and gorged it at the Prive Lounge upstairs. I love the new interiors! There is something very sexy about being inside a dimly lit club with lighted candles and music pulsing all over the place, sitting close together on a zebra-printed couch and velvet upholstery. Electric, the vibe is.
I could almost see hush-hush moments, stolen makeout sessions and heady wine glass clinking. For short – for adults only, no kids allowed. Hahah. Oh, yes, when Jaja told me she was hoping to take out the CLUB part in VUDU, I just had to agree.

Finally – no more kids! Lounge and chillaxing music minus the hardcore dancing in the Prive Lounge wouldn’t appeal to those squealing highschool brats who down San Mig Light as if it’s the coolest thing in the world anyway. If people want to dance, the floor is theirs. Downstairs. Hahah. I do look forward to having dinner there soonest.
Day 1 was subdued. Day 2 was crazy.
