Jun Escario at Formo

If you say Jun Escario, you’re definitely not talking about the strip from SSS office to SugarFree Haven, but THE Jun Escario, fashion designer.

Had Banilad Town Center had been bombed that night, half of Cebu’s beautiful people will be dead. Sugarbuzz Productions produced Brazilian Nights at Formo where they showcased Jun Escario’s Summer/Spring 2007 Collection and Gruppo Tribale samba’d the night away. That night, besides armed with friends, my other favorite accessory was Bong, who makes up half of Glamarazzi with his adorable gadget: his SLR!

We had a trenchant view of the models and his collection and the details of Escario’s new line. Drapes! Cowl necklines! Over-oversized plastic bags in Gold, Black and Silver.

This bag costs 2,500Php.

Such quality and panache.

They were giving away Havaianas bags to guests too. Our afterparty was at Loft till 5am when I decided this night is going to be wrapped up again as another glamarazzi undulation. Thanks to Formo for the invites. Cheers Ü

fill me in the blanks

A few days ago …. I was stuffing myself with diet pills and have yet to see the results ……

….. last week when political families find it their penchant to vie for the attention of the masses…..

seeing friends and old flames and new members of family

the exact moment someone told me I don’t need to lose weight…..

….. when I finally let loose and told myself that I just need to get a better grip on things

the last time …. my friend gave me hell because “You don’t love yourself!”…..

…. the day I got to thinking that maybe happiness doesn’t always mean having something to be happy about

the last Summer ….. of bliss and loves lost and forecver friends……

when I change how I think, how I view, how I love, how I dance

whenever I told the sun to shine for me just this once….

……everytime I’m myself and having a blast at what I keep having thats randomly being thrown at.

[Mr. Hunbun, ever the elusive heretic, is on his way to Thailand for weeks. I would love to emo on this but I've drained myself the last time he's been MIA for three weeks. I sense a Derek and Meredith moment for a while there. Oh, God I hope there's no more to it than that. But I hope he brings me elephants. And those cute wood bangles, hunhun? *huge smile*

Yes, I'm going to be lonely, and vulnerable and will not fall prey to people taking advantage of that because they're just wasting their time. unless if your name's Jon Hall. Hmm.. For the meantime, let me pack. Who knows, I might be going to Elephantland and get me some elephants. The evasive kind.]

Bangaloo

Proxy, shmoxy, ay Helga, I can totally relate. Good thing I have an undirect link to my blogsite, I can still post. [take that I.T., if ever you're reading this!] so no hiatus for me. Yet.

By yet, I mean, until the start of a/my new job. Counting unhatched chickens? Not really but I was already talking in slurs to the new manager yesterday I cannot believe how I came there tipsy from what, a blue cocktail, just to liven up a boring afternoon with a cousin. So might be that I might kiss unemployment soonness because of his brilliant

questions. Big Hug

Manager: So how can your short term goals coincide with your long term goals?

Me in my head: Can you be ask me something that I haven’t been answering since my first interview experience?

Manager: How do you see yourself two years from now?

Me in my head: Expletive deleted.

I’m not irresponsible. The manager just called me to come over their office while I was in the middle of my second glass to “just chat” and chatting to him involves career, life and relationships which makes me appreciate my silent moments with a psychobabbler I know. His oober coool office was slapped in the crevices of Mandaue City slash Banilad slash nowheretown which takes about [if commuting] three jeepney rides and one pedicab ride if you live where I am. Cab ride is prolly about 80 bucks and the whole thing lasts about 30 minutes compared to my 10 minute ride to PeopleSupport. When employees get to their office, they’ll be greeted by a guard who lets them take off their shoes and replace it with slippers kept inside their lockers. So wala nalang kwenta mga pumps and all that heeljazz? Height, I need height!

No, I didn’t get any job no matter how hard I had to lower the neckline of my top. He’s making me come back next week for another them chats. Sigh. More flashes. Gahh. Continue reading »
