Red Wedding at 180 RPM

No, I didn’t forget that I have a blog. I just was more into my multiply and uploading and taking a lot of pictures that I ignored writing altogether. Should’ve made a photoblog, yeah?

I’m in Cagayan de Oro having the vacation of my life… errr, which the vacation part I’m still waiting because I didn’t get any chance to relax at all. OMG I’m unemployed I hate that as fuck.

The girls and I had been up and about going through rehearsals, catching up on the lastest chismis, speed eating on restaurants and comparing taste buds, and then of course came the day before the wedding where we get to spend the night at the hotel so that the following morning make up artists would be barging at the door at 5am to paint our faces with goop. Friday night we were panic reserving songs at Rona’s magic sing before we decided to head to the city to check out what’s going on in CDO. Everybody then went back to the hotel early while I hung out at 1150 with Jay, Carlo, Ernie, Candice and Niko. Just in time when I snuck back in the hotel room at 5am when all of their phones beeped and the makeup artists were already there. So much for that power nap!

So highlights of the week were Angeli’s wedding slash debutante ball?

Well anyboo, Tessa is already here in Cebu and she’s been bawling nonstop and complaining of missing home. I used to be like her two years ago but she was exagerratingly underestimating herself. She is assigned to Cebu to work and she can make it. But she’s been hollering [every hourrrr] for me to sleep over at the hotel. Last night when I had an interview with the Manager, she was calling every thirty minutes trying to make me come over. If only the manager would let me off his claws early then I would have gone. The whole job offer and signing of contract lasted until 2am and Tessa was still up waiting.

Tihn, on the other hand, who was in Cebu also to review for the Bar Exam, suddenly did a Tessa and said that she’s been crying too because she missed home. Ack. Homesickness ang show? I was torn between whom to go to after having coffee when Tihn said she’s fine and that she doesn’t want to bother me and she’d rather sleep it off. Tessa cannot sleep it off and poor girl’s been up waiting.

Soo.. I’ve been sleeping in her hotel room for three nights in a row now. I come in at 2am or sometimes late whenever I get held up by people and leave at 6am when Tessa’s up. The front desk guy would see me in the same clothes that I wore the night before and give me dirty looks. Hello? I wish I was guilty of what he was thinking except that I’ve been babysitting one of his guests.

I shouldn’t have indulged both of my girlfriends because back when I was in Cebu and doing everything they are doing now, I didn’t have a Kristine who goes to their hotel room and stays with them till they can fall asleep. How else will they learn about being alone?

But I love neurotic Tessa, I love praning Tihn, I love my friends. I’d sleep with them anytime they ask me, too. Sounds kinkeehhh.

Well.. that’s about the highlight since. I’m getting ready for Anj’s wedding this Saturday. And I was demoted/promoted from Bridesmaid to doing the whole cord thing because Katrina cannot go. Cord! I’m single! Waah. Stress. I wanna be a bridesmaid! My dress is not fit for the cord role and with the deep neckline and all, I was hoping I’d get away from the priest’s sermon if I happen to not be seen at the altar. Oh somebody halp me.

[insert mom address in the future] R’Love… There has never been a time when I was late yet still is fully madeup and dressed to the nines so you can really tell that I hastily put on clothes just to beat the time considering that it is so unlike me to show up for work underdressed according to Mammy Maris’, “Gihilanat ka geng?” (Do you have a fever?) she said the last time she saw me wearing a tshirt and a pair of jeans which I really have to digress how much pressure it is to appear to work overdressed all the time so Nhemz, cut me some slack. The best be overdressed motto is sometimes taking its toll on your schedule adherence. Did I just say that?? smiley finger in hole

Let’s not forget to switch back to avail mode after the camera flashes have died down. You are the most unwholesome lot I know I cannot count the number of times nabastos ako. *wink*
