holy week’s gospel
One of the first long holidays this year has is the holy week holiday that starts this Thursday until Monday. It is just natural that people are already off to every exotic place that you could think of and are having a hard time to spell. My family is at some mountain sojourn for the weekend and if I go I’d lose my mind. Mom didn’t make it to the bar exam and my dad’s trying everything to keep her occupied. I’ll just be with them in heart and in spirit. L
Some more bereft people [i.e. me] are working during this holiday. But then again if one makes an effort to spend the Holy Week with reverence even if they didn’t have a couple of days off, it wouldn’t be so bad. I’ll just consider Hunhun’s 32hr visit at home my holy week holiday minus anything gospel.
However, the zen feeling you get after having your holiday will instantly be erased by a poke in the hip to work mode.
Enjoy the Lenten Season. Discern. Repent. Fast. I will. Somehow.

sorry about your mom. I heard 15 percent only passed and I know your mom, too, she’s far greater than any lawyer.

[...] My entire family was here last week and before I could go ‘Yey, great vacation!’, I was reminded of how strict and religious they are. It wasn’t that long that I conditioned myself to a week long solitude on reflection that is bordered on a conviction it was a great idea for them to come over despite the fact that I will be missing this huge thing in Bantayan Island for holy week.
