Our Girl Wedded, the Girls Dreaded

We heard it already but we just had to set up a conference to talk about it. Angeli was on the hot seat because she is getting married this May. Is she getting married because she is pregnant or is she pregnant because she is getting married? Kaloka.  

Rona came from all the way from the Republic of Manila because of an emergency reunion with her mom’s siblings and it was perfect timing to discuss the dreadful topic. Since monkhood isn’t an option, Angeli is, yes, getting married to Paolo, and she’s now in her 2nd month – a far cry from Yen’s four-months-barely-there bulging stomach. The entourage was girly fodder for this conference and Tessa was already heavily emphasizing that she be the maid of honor. Yen’s eyes were saying somebody-please-tell-her-something while Rona gives off a you-tell-her-she-is-making-a-mistake-look until I asked, “Anj, are you sure?” and Angeli’s eyes were already going Oh-my-God-this-is-supposed-to-be-my-wedding-why-can’t-I-make-decisions. Tessa pouted and sulked but I guess she really is going to get her way. I just pray for Angeli’s wedding that she need not play the role of the maid or be yelled at because she happens to be prettier than Tessa.
