Ay. Ay. Ay.
It’s 3 days till Christmas! Can I weeweechu?
Weeweechu a merry christmas! Hahah! Lame.
On the 22ndm, I, along with the rest of the people who’s in Cebu, will be going home! Can you believe the number of people scrambling to do that? Plane and boat tickets from Dec 21 until Dec 25 are already booked! If carpets and broomsticks do travel, they still will be booked. I am just happy that my leaves were all approved that I get to be on vacation in one week! Super!
I bet you’re getting all enviooussss.
Then there’s this thing about going home and people expecting you to claim, “Hi, I COME BARING GIFTSSS!!” just because you’re the only relative/friend/churva/pseudo girlfriend away from Cagayan therefore you are obliged to give them gifts that will make up all the birthdays, Christening, and Lord’s day(?) that you’ve missed. Excuse me? I have sankatutak na relatives and friends and *** tawsandz peyzoz in my wallet, in the bank, in the pockets of unused handbags and in my imaginary bottomless safe. How on earth can everybody have gifts of their own paid for by yours truly is beyyyonddd me.
As usual, every Christmas I vow to buy gifts in September and end up buying days before the 24th! Scenario: me, in Ayala panic-buying, arms akimbo from all that shopping bag weight.
“What is panic-buying?” my friend Kit had to ask. “Is it going from one store to another and buying things in sight like what you are doing?”
No.
It is buying at the last minute and spending more than the alloted budget for the person.
Eep.
No one should be able to see my Christmas list or they’ll be offended. “What, I’m worth 500 pesos lang?” Suicide. Or, “How come X gets more than Y?”
Because X got me those cute earrings I wanted last year!
Oops.
Kwentahan ang show.
I asked my sisters what they wanted and they sent me this long text message that I’m pretty sure racked up more than the 450 maximum number of characters allowed per text. My dad also went, “Bahala na ate, as long as we’re all in good health.” Harummpphh….
Is he for real?
I went, “You sure? A Wallet from Rustan’s? A Lacoste shirt?”
Then he answered, “XL siguro.”
Naks! Good health and something extra large pala!
It’s going to be sooo hard to avoid those, “Where are my gifts?” questions when I get home. At the amount of hinting they do as reflected in the amount of YUNG PINASKOHAN KO spam text messages they sent, they wouldn’t be considerate on letting you go. “November pa ako nagsend ng spam!” comes the irate bellows with hands on hips pa. I guess friendship nowadays and cute hugs and cheeky kisses are no longer accepted as *sniff* gifts.
so Dear Santa, forget about my friends. I know that you already have a clear idea what are the things that I wanted this year but never had but still I just wanted you to know that I wanted the following:

3 pairs of Janylin pumps

latest Instyle Magazine

bracelets!

boyfriend

p.s. this blog will be in autistic mode until the holidays are over.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
