I’ve been to my first wedding in Cebu! How exciting! Although we were super-fashionably late to ever witness the entire thing because O is the ever-lola fussing over our clothes and makeup, the fact that I get to be in an event where dressing up is a must is very much a must-do on a hmm Tuesday night.
My friend Angel, has tied the knot with her hubby Tom from Germany and she looked beautiful.
I love her tiara! The reception was at Fort San Pedro at the Pier Area where tourists (i.e tourists in Cebu comprises of Koreans and Iranians only) frequent and where LapuLapu supposedly set his feet on whatever it is that made this place history but it sure is breathtaking during nigh time when tea tree lights adorn the branches of old long ago ghost trees; and tables and chairs are all covered in white. A tent in the middle was set up for the buffet table and of course the entourage. I didn’t see any of Tom’s cute friends from Germany and I was hoping to meet a Hello, Can I see your vahn-hoten? Hahaha. Gawsy Anton couldn’t make it that’s why he asked for pictures instead. Tsk tsk. He’d feel bad.
O dolled me up in a brown tube dress where a huge belt accentuated the waist and gold pumps. He teased me hair and bronzed me face. It was freezing cold so I threw on a white trench coat until O seethed under his teeth to take it off when we were at the reception because it will ruin the entire wedding. Hahaha. We missed the wine! But the cake we superb – chiffon in green frosting. Oh my God. I need to have my butterbean fix today. Muah. Gotsagosies.
