My Poodle is Pregnant!

My sister Vanessa texted me and told me Tiara, my toy poodle of 2 years is pregnant. I have had known that she has been doing something with Hugo, my other poodle, behind my back but I never thought she’s likely to have kids! I thought she was sterile! I am soo disappointed in her. She’s still a baby… Sniff.

But that doesn’t replace the delight I felt when I learned that she has 5 puppies! (spoken like a real grandmother) Five! How productive of her! And that Hugo of mine is one sharpshooter! Hahha.

Vanessa recounted how she was sleeping one night and found that Tiara had been tugging on her bedcovers all the time. She ignored her thinking that she just wanted to play and fell asleep. When she woke up the following morning, Tiara was on the floor licking at 4 puppies and wagging her tail like crazy. And Vanessa watched amazed as another one got out .Five all in all! I’ve give up anything just to watch that scene. Vanessa and I were talking on the phone and I was shrieking madly. Does anyone have an idea that she had been pregnant all this time? The last time I saw her she was having trouble jumping on the bed and her belly was unusually heavy but that doesn’t mean anything because she eats like a hog.

Ooh.. I am so excited to go home. I have plans to go home this August but I guess that trip will be early then. I asked my sister how mom’s like because I remember her saying, “If you bring one more dog into this household, I’m moving out!” But no, Vanessa said they have been all delighted, too, as if they themselves were responsible for Tiara’s babies. Awww… I wonder if they’ll feel the same thing had I have been pregnant! Hahaha.

Ooh, I gotta go to Rustans. I saw this really itsy bitsy dog chains in hot pink and some really cozy dog beds. Toodsie.

Last Restday in June

Tonight is my last night of work. Hmm.. what could be the best thing to do again for this week’s restday?

O came up with a night out with his teammates and go crazy drunk. Isn’t that outdated? Its like days too before payday and we all know how people are between those days. Even if they hardly have any money to fend for themselves till Friday, they still go out and drain their wallets. That made me appreciate my mom’s generosity. Lol.

Or we could go dancing again at the club. Boring? Same people, same music. Oh, I’d love to dance to Pussycat Dolls’ (or Nicole and the Pussycat Dolls) Buttons. Its so sexy.

Or I’d love to binge on sweets tomorrow. Postrio. Dessert Factory.

Or just lounge around in Starbucks and enjoy the free drizzle and syrup for our drinks from the coupons I got. We could just stare at the people coming and talk about their secret lives behind their laptops and their madeup faces.

Or just go watch a movie. Wednesday will show Superman. Yum, a man in tights could motivate me to watch it even if the movie is a poor rendition of Spiderman – this time with extra powers involved and not just webbed strings and a mask.

Or its been raining all the time. Maybe I could chill on my bed the whole day and wake up on Friday. Now that is a miracle. I must have my head examined. There is no way I’m going to stay in bed on my restday.

Or my beau was thinking of watching movies at his house. I’d love to see his mom again and talk and pretend that my mom isn’t miles away. I like that. Hmm. I like that. I’d buy popcorn later.
